When to choose SVG
Choose SVG to PNG for an illustration with transparent areas. Choose SVG to JPG for an opaque picture with a selected background. The raster size comes from the SVG’s declared dimensions or its viewBox; check the resulting dimensions before downloading.
What to expect
SVG is input-only. This converter accepts static, self-contained artwork and rejects scripts, animation, external resources and embedded images. Referenced web fonts are not fetched. Unsupported SVG features can fail validation rather than produce an incomplete result.
Choose the right alternative
Keep your original SVG when you need scalable, editable vector artwork. A converted PNG or JPG has fixed pixel dimensions and will not remain an editable vector. A raster image cannot be turned into an SVG by simply changing its extension.
Support in Pixrelio
Import a supported .svg file and export a raster format. PNG retains transparent areas; JPG and BMP replace them with your chosen background. The decoded image must fit the same dimension and file-size limits as other inputs.
Select images and settings on a converter page, then open your dedicated result page to preview and download. Original files stay on your device. Read about temporary local storage.
