What changes when I convert?+

AVIF color compression is lossy with adjustable quality; the alpha channel is retained. Encoding is processed on your device, including on phones, and can take longer than JPG or PNG.

Does this change the image dimensions?+

ICO output is resized to the selected square sizes, with transparent padding and no cropping. Other output formats keep the decoded pixel dimensions. SVG uses its explicit dimensions or viewBox.

Do you support animated images?+

Animated PNG, WebP and AVIF sequences are not supported. SVG must be static. For multi-image HEIC/HEIF, the primary or first photo is used.
