What changes when I convert?+

ICO output uses PNG-compressed frames. Choose multiple favicon sizes or one size between 16 and 256 pixels. Your picture fits inside the square with transparent padding and no cropping.

Does this change the image dimensions?+

ICO output is resized to the selected square sizes, with transparent padding and no cropping. Other output formats keep the decoded pixel dimensions. SVG uses its explicit dimensions or viewBox.

Do you support animated images?+

Animated PNG, WebP and AVIF sequences are not supported. SVG must be static. For multi-image HEIC/HEIF, the primary or first photo is used.
