How do I convert HEIC / HEIF to PNG?+

What changes when I convert?+

HEIC/HEIF files are decoded locally. PNG stores the decoded picture losslessly and can be larger than the original. Only the primary or first photo is converted; HDR, auxiliary images and metadata are not retained.

Does this change the image dimensions?+

ICO output is resized to the selected square sizes, with transparent padding and no cropping. Other output formats keep the decoded pixel dimensions. SVG uses its explicit dimensions or viewBox.

Do you support animated images?+

Animated PNG, WebP and AVIF sequences are not supported. SVG must be static. For multi-image HEIC/HEIF, the primary or first photo is used.
