How do I convert JPG to PNG?+

What changes when I convert?+

PNG preserves the pixels produced by decoding your JPG, but cannot restore detail lost in the original JPEG compression. File size often increases.

Does this change the image dimensions?+

ICO output is resized to the selected square sizes, with transparent padding and no cropping. Other output formats keep the decoded pixel dimensions. SVG uses its explicit dimensions or viewBox.

Do you support animated images?+

Animated PNG, WebP and AVIF sequences are not supported. SVG must be static. For multi-image HEIC/HEIF, the primary or first photo is used.
